The problem facing surveying students in Nigeria is the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed in the field. The essence of the survey camp lies in bridging this gap by providing hands-on experience, networking opportunities, and industry insights. Through practical training and specialized tracks, the camp aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the surveying profession, thus addressing the practical needs of students and contributing to the advancement of the field in Nigeria. The camp will now hold in three regions within the six zones of the institution; North Central/North East/North West Zones (Northern Region) Date: October 8-12, 2024 Venue: Olusegun Obasanjo Space Center, FCT Abuja South West Zone (Western Region) Date: October 29 - November 2, 2024 Venue: Federal School of Surveying, Ibadan Oyo South South/South East (Eastern Region) Date: October 5-9, 2024 Venue: NIS Secretariat, Port Harcourt Rivers State
